I think secular music is AWESOME!!! As long as it doesn’t encourage things that I know to be wrong. But ya, I have a lot of sec. music. It’s just as effective at expressing emotion as Christian music…in fact, it gives different perspectives that Christian music.
If you read any of Rob Bell’s stuff he talks alot about how Everything is Spiritual. There really isn’t any way you can separate things like Music or art and call one group “Christian” and another group “secular” or “non-Christian.” Everything in our life has spiritual ramifications.
